Intimate Piercings

All intimate piercings require an in person consultation at least 24 hours in advance of the piercing. This is to ensure that you are making an informed decision about the piercing and reccomended aftercare.

At the consultation we will discuss the piercing you are interested in and desired result, how the piercing is performed, the pros and cons that may be associated and how to care for the piercing whilst it heals. We will also perfrom an anatomy check to ensure that the piercing is viable and that we have the correct jewellery availalable for the intial piercing and any required downsizes.

We want you to feel comfortable sharing any potential triggers during the appointment and likewise, anything that our team can do to ensure you have a positive experience with your piercing.

There will be two members of staff present during all intimate consultation and piercings. We do reccomend bringing a chaperone with you, however, due to the available space in the piecing room they may be asked to sit in one of the comfy chairs just outside the procedure room during the piercing.

All of our piercings are performed with the highest standards of Titanium ASTM F-136 body jewellery, using an aesptic techniqie with an emphasis on your comfort, experience and safety.

APPROXIMATE HEALING TIMES:

Recommended check up after the initial piercing:

2-4 weeks

Full Heal: 12 - 16 weeks for most piercing

Longer heal of 4-9 months for piercings such as outer labia, christina, ampallang, apadravya, guiche.

Every body is different, every body heals at different paces.

AFTERCARE:

Unless advised otherwise, the three general rules for healing your piercings are:

Keep it clean: Using a sterile saline solution or clean water in the shower or in a peri bottle. gently remove and build up using ktichen paper

Keep it dry: Avoid baths, swimming, saunas and hot tubs for 4-6 weeks. Use clean kitchen paper to dry after showering and cleaning. We do not reccomend using toilet paper on your piercing.

Keep your hands off: Dont touch/move your piercing. Wear comfortable, breathable underwear. Avoid sexual contact for up to four weeks and use barrier methods of protection where applicable. Ensure any toys or equipment are clean.

Downsizing your jewellery is very important. You will be pierced with jewellery that is intentionally large to accomodate initial swelling during the healing period. Swelling is a normal part of healing a piercing. After 2-4 weeks you will require a check up and a downsize of the jewellery.
